About : The History and Activities of NIT Jaipur

The National Institute of Technology at Jaipur was established in the year 1963. MNIT is one of the 20 NIT's established in different states of the country.

Academics

At present, the Institute offers eight 4 year undergraduate courses of study leading to the Bachelor of Technology degree (in Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering) and 5 year undergraduate course leading to the Bachelor of Architecture degree, with a total of over 1800 students. There are ten PG specializations, in CAD structures, Urban Design, Environment engineering, etc., besides doctoral programs with over 300 students.

Admissions to the institute are through the All India Engineering/Architecture/Planning Entrance Exam [AIEEE].
