About : The History and Ranking of MNIT Bhopal

Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India (formerly Maulana Azad College of Technology, MACT), is one of the first eight Regional Engineering Colleges in India. The Institute is situated in the Bhopal Central region of Bhopal City on southern side.

MANIT has students from all parts of the country. For boys there are separate hostels for students who are in different academic years. For girls there is only one hostel. Hostels are also available for post-graduate students.

International students from many countries such as Oman, Kuwait, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Mauritius, Malaysia, Iran, United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan enrol at MANIT for various undergraduate and post-graduate programs.

Admission Process, Minimum Qualifications and Reservation

For the undergraduate courses the admission is through the national level engineering entrance examination - AIEEE.

For the post graduate courses the entry is through GATE for MTech, NIMCET for MCA or through an institute conducted entrance test.
